Founded in 1981, OMT started out with 2 full time employees in 2,000 square feet of space. Since then, the company has expanded its facility 9 times to over 25,000 square feet. facility houses a high definition plasma cutter, which can precisely cut material up to three inches thick, and a 320-ton, two-axis Accupress as well as a computer controlled break press. This year, we are pleased to add a 4 axis CNC Waterjet with a work envelope of 6’-6” x 13’-0” and capabilities to cut materials up to 6.00” thick. This newest acquisition is a testament to our continued growth and future success. Our company has seen every change in the industry and adapted by integrating the latest machines and production techniques with their exceptional one-on-one personal customer service, Olivia Machine and Tool has become a thriving pillar of the community. We take pride in being part of the Lee County and Greater Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce.

A Complete Machine and Metal Fabrication Facility 

OMT is a complete machine facility with clients throughout Research Triangle, Piedmont Triad, Ft. Bragg and Pope Air Force Base. We are a full spectrum machine shop proudly celebrating over 40 years of operation as a family owned business, started by the Thomas family. Currently, Terry and Sam Thomas lead the family business with longtime associates David McKinney and Brian Dull. Our quality service has attracted many customers in their four decades of operations and has allowed us to become the success they are. Some of their major clients include: Tyson Foods, Caterpillar, GKN, Mountaire Farms, Pilgrims Pride, Bharat Forge, Coty Inc., Sanford Contractors and Ft. Bragg.
